Revisiting the Powder Room
This little powder room I redid a few years ago for the One Room Challenge is still one of my favorite spaces in our house. It has tall ceilings, and is just spacious enough it doesn’t feel cramped for a little hall bath. The wallpaper really brings it to life. But you know I can never leave anything alone for too long!
I swapped out a few accessories and it really refreshed the space. I found everything at Walmart and loved that I didn’t have to spend a lot to liven things up. Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
My favorite thing by far is this $11 turkish towel. It’s more of a full-size towel but is thin enough that you can fold it up and it still works as a hand towel. I got the black color but also love the gray, and you really can’t beat the price!
I also really loved this little geometric counter tray and canister. I use the canister to keep fresh flowers and greens in here, but in a more fully functioning bathroom it would be great for cotton balls, etc.
Can we just talk about this rug? I’m amazed at how much it looks and feels like a vintage one. The colors are soft and beautiful and it’s a true flat weave that feels so much like my vintage ones. And it’s only $22! Amazing!
I also picked up this cute little set of canisters. I loved the abstract patterns and the leather pulls.
Of course there’s nothing I love more than shelf styling, so having this extra set of shelves in here is a fun way for me to switch things up. This geometric jar and the white wash textured vase were two things I changed out, and I know I’ll use them all around the house.
